postheadericon Books to Look Out For

By Kimberly Lowe

I’ve been a fan of Harlequin for the last eight years. I have well over 600 books in storage and sold I don’t know how many over the web and at yard sales!! I know I have a small problem, I’m fully aware and no I’m not getting help…I’m blogging instead. Hehe!

On my blog I review all romantic books that some would look over. Whether your sick of the same story line just with different characters or just don’t know where to look. Some of the books I’ve reviewed are Nancy Madore’s Enchanted, Rita Herron’s Romantic Suspense, and Texas Confidential which was unique with the original concept of having four different authors working together to publish one series.

Some of these books are older and are harder to find. But if you are like me and find yourself wondering a mom and pop bookstore or searching the web for a good book, grab these. They are each unique in their own way. You won’t find yourself getting tired of the same story line. Which after 600 books you get that a lot. But with Harlequin’s wide span of authors and a massive selection of titles to chose from, they never fail to keep you interested. Here is a sneak peek at some of the reviews on my blog that you might have missed.

~Nancy Madore’s Enchanted~

Featured by Harlequin’s Spice this is a wonderful combination of Erotic Short Stories that are so cleverly written you can’t help but to be drawn into fantasy. It’s new take on the old fairy tale classics. Even if you’re not sure about the Erotic side of this book, the witty twist of each story has it’s own unique take making those moments a little easier.

~Rita Herron’s Romantic Suspense~

Eight years and visiting Harlequin’s website at least three times a month I have read so many of their books that I’m fully aware of what authors that have been around for awhile and who are new and testing the waters. One of these gems has become one of my absolute favorite. In fact there were three of her novels that had that suspenseful grab that had me running to the book store to get the next one. This is actually not a series just three of my favorites. A Breath Away, In A Heartbeat, Last Kiss Goodbye.

~Texas Confidential~

As I mentioned before this four part series is cleverly pieced together by four different authors. It was quite delightful and fascinating how all four of them brought this story together so gracefully. The Bodyguard’s assignment~ by Amanda Stevens, The Agent’s Secret Child~ by B. J. Daniels, The Specialist~ by Dani Sinclair, The Outsider’s Redemption~ by Joanna Wayne. This series was published quite some time a go and like I mentioned it might be harder to find. Although, if you do come across it, grab it! This was the first series that I read in Harlequin and set me off on this crazy hobby! I highly recommend it.
